Protection
It's not the protection of the 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's. Today's protection is stronger and can last longer. Gone are the days of waxing your car every month to maintain protection (in the south the heat melts the natural carnaubas) . Now ceramic and polymer based sealants/coatings can give you much chemical, heat, UV(sun fading and oxidation) and road film resistance. This is important to both you and your vehicles finish. Paint Correction, Exfoliation, SHINE and GLOSS restoration
Other than accidents there are three main causes to dull paint damage that we see. First is the sun. Just like our body if your vehicle remains unprotected the the UV rays will oxidize the paint work, breakdown plastics, and rubber seals. You can see the effects of this quickest on headlights all around town. The second assault on the paint is the road film (you pick up from driving around town) full of chemicals sitting and drying on the surface. The third is the "love marks" induced from us wiping the dirt off surface. This dulls the paint with a layer of fine scratches. They act like a lamp shade to the paint color underneath. Fanatic's are trained in the safer practices to reduce the love damage. Many induce premature oxidation by using to aggressive of cleaning chemicals during the cleaning process.
